Patient’s early morning urine sample confirmed existence of calculus. Patient complained of back pain, navel pain, irritation in urethra, blood in urine, obstruction and shooting pain while urinating, and nausea. Further investigation revealed possible stone formation in kidneys and ureter. Kidney, Ureter, and Bladder (KUB) ultrasound confirmed the diagnosis.
Treatment began with strict dietary plan. Temporary general lifestyle changes were introduced such as posture care while exercising, praying, and etc. Drug plan involving multiple plant and non plant based Unani medicines helped the patient pass the calculus within a few days.
