Burning sensation, numbness, or tingling radiating down the sciatic path; lumbar pain, buttock pain, hip pain, leg pain, limited range of motion, and etc.
Typically nerve irritation or inflammation due to adjacent changes in disc, bone, and muscle often triggered by internal bleeding, infections, tumors, injury, and etc. At times, lifestyle choices including those leading to bad posture and gait may also contribute to Sciatic conditions. In some cases, humor imbalances may facilitate infection development.
My (Hakeem Syed Muhammad Rehan Alam’s) family has been successfully treating all kinds of Sciatic disorders for more than 88 years. It is one of our family’s signature treatments and our expertise in this field is well known. We have a proprietary way of approaching diagnosis and treatment. Patient history, pulse analysis, and Qaroora (urine inspection) help the Tabib narrow down the root cause (such as trauma, infection, heredity, and relevant humor imbalances). Whenever necessary, we do make use of modern lab tests in arriving at and confirming diagnosis and in monitoring of treatment progress. Our treatment plan is very simple. Patient is immediately put on a strict dietary plan coupled with generally up to 4-8 week Unani drug regimen consisting of various processed and unprocessed herbs etc.
In our experience, we have noticed that multiple humor imbalances may be behind facilitation of infection and/or inability of the body to quickly heal the affected area. We insist on strict dietary plan involving avoidance of certain meats, seafood, poultry, fruits, vegetables, and dairy products. We also strongly suggest adherence to anatomically appropriate posture control both during and after the treatment.
